Based on the 1986 arcade hit, Bubble Bobble is a one- or two-player game in which players guide a pair of running, jumping, bubble-shooting dinosaurs through 125 levels of non-scrolling platform action. When a bubble makes contact with a monster, the monster floats upward, and players must pop the bubble to kill the enclosed creature, thereby revealing an item for bonus points.

Armed with the power to create rainbows, Bubby will climb obstacles and destroy enemies and level-ending bosses with his powerful stars. After defeating each boss and claiming the Rainbow Diamond for each stage, you will have saved the Rainbow Sea from Krabo's treachery.
