The mission at Replay Value has always been to build a next generation community where video game collectors and enthusiasts can come together to buy and sell video games, consoles and accessories in a safer, easier and more affordable way. At the heart of any community is the communication that it is built on. When Replay Value launched, it was a challenge for buyers and sellers to communicate on the platform. Furthermore, it was even difficult for us at Replay Value to communicate with our users. Given our mission, this was obviously a big gap.
That’s why is pleases me to announce that, after a lot of hard work, we’ve closed this communication gap in the form of notifications and store chat.
Notifications
Our new notifications feature gives us a way to communicate updates, such as order confirmations and lifecycle updates or unread chat messages, to the users and stores on our platform. To view all notifications you have recieved, simply click the bell icon in the top right. We also display the number of unread notifications in this location.
Store Chat
With the addition of store chat, users are now able to directly message stores with questions or concerns regarding listings or any orders they may have placed. Starting a chat with a store is as easy as navigating to their store page and clicking the SEND MESSAGE button to send a first message. After that, all chats can be accessed by clicking the chat icon in the top right.
We hope that by bridging this communication gap, we have made it easier to connect and succeed on Replay Value. We look forward to seeing how these new features are used by our users.
